I picked up the paid version on a whim and its a lot of fun. Reminds me of early PS1 and Animal Crossing games but the whole point is just fishing. Better in bursts rather than dedicated play but I keep discovering little things to do and find (ex: the metal detector). This is why I love gamejams, people can create such fun stuff and eventually expand on it. Thank you for making this!
nah depending on the webhost you can just use a template, you'd be surprised how easy it is to make a spam site look legit. it's not linked to on the dev's twitter or linktree so I doubt it's the real deal

i actually saw someone was gifting the game so i tried out the whole begging thing out of curiousity lol. someone may be botting it but i suspect some people just saw the same person gifting the game. Or maybe it's a webfishing conspiracy!
